The world is sweeter in a chocolate shop

It's appalling thatItalic I have only seen my cousin and his wife once since I have been in London. So I decided to see them yesterday. And oh boy, do they know what makes me tick: they took me to a shop called The Chocolate Alchemist. Flavoured chocolates, normal milk varieties, flavoured dark and white hot chocolates, chocolate coated nuts and so much more! Oh divine! Heaven! Joy! My only regret is I did not have a bigger bag and could not by more. I am still trying to catch my breath...

*If chocolate was a religion, there would be world peace.*

Oh Geez, in which area in London? I can remember the Godiva shop on Regeants Street...damn expensive but heaven to the eyes...I also bought some from Harrods...paid like GBP10 for 5 tiny pieces...a royal waste but so decadent.

But for the most part, I use to live on the ASDA no name brand 200g Chocolates (the one with the rice crispies in) for like 48p a slab. It was that and the 400g Toblerone for 1 pound at the Pound shop lol...(they have some great chocolates at the pound shop btw)...

Oh and how can I forget - Somerfields and their 48 pack of kit kat @ like 3 pounds...and Lidl with their 29p 100g slabs of milk choclate...

Geez girl..I could go on and on and on about my 2 favourite things...London and Chocolate LOL :P

Ohhh Myyyyy! The JOY! It is a shame my youngest grand daughter wasn't with you. She is our #1 chocoholic. I don't know if there is a 12 step program for her or not, but since she was a wee one...Chocolate has been her comfort food of choice. For her birthday this year I made her a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles on top. I have no doubt that when she grows up and gets married the wedding cake will be chocolate.

Have a great day!!

Loooooove London and Chocolate...theres a belgian choclate brand called Galler (they'll have it at Harrods and yeah its expensive) but to date..the milk chocolate praline is THE BEST CHOCOLATE i have EVER eaten in my LIFE!!

But then again, when I'm starved for some cocoa, any chocolate is the best and will do...even no name brands lol

My friend Angie and I use to buy the Bounty Ice-cream (they dont make it here:() at Tesco's opposite Liverpool Street Station & they use to sell them in bulk...like 12 for 2 Pounds or something like that (it was a buy a 6 pack get one free deal)...so we would buy them because the chocolate/ice-cream combination is delicious and eat everything (because by the time we each got home it would have been melted) - until we were sick! Then we'd swear not to eat another one ever again, but end up doing it two days later - and getting sick again :P Sadists we were...

geez, heres like a whole book on Chocolate and London already...I should've warned you not to get me started :D

Being in London has its perks chocolates galore- something SA seriously lacks...
Patchi chocolates are quite nice, closet to European chocolate in teh Ararb world....
